Mexican president Felipe Calderon critizes the AZ law
Few days ago, the Mexican president came to our country and in front the US Congress and the president Obama, he critized the AZ law and stated his complete opposition to that "racist". All the Congress agreed with a stand-up applause. Do you think that this was appropiate or not?I believe that he shouldn't come here to tell us what to do or not. He should clean his own yard first! He is promoting the illegal immigration by telling their people not to come to Arizona because they will be arrested. He should promote a better and quality life to his people instead of waiting that we resolve his own country problems. But if our own President and Congress approve this kind of disrespectful actions against their Americans citizens, what else we can expect? We are not Americans racists, we are Fed-up Americans, enough is enough!
Mexico's President calls Az's Law discrimatory?
Well the president of Mexico is visiting and putting in his two cents about the illegal immigrants law in AZ. He is calling it discrimatory. Really....how is that? How is it discrimatory to hold people accountable for breaking the law? Is it going to be discrimatory to hold ANYONE accountable for breaking any laws now? They are breaking the law....so they need to be held accountable. They knew when they crossed the border what would happen if they were caught. They showed a disreguard for the laws of this country, then dare us to hold them accountable for it...so aren't they discriminating against the US people and our country? It is holding people accountable for not following the law. The rest of us have to follow the laws of this country...why shouldn't they? If we break the law we get punished...why shouldn't they? Can anyone please explain to me how Mexico...with some of the toughest immigration policies and punishments on record...can dare to tell us our laws are discrimatory or even tell us how we should run our country?
What do you think of the SB 1070 AZ Law?
What do you think of the AZ new law? And why?
Governor Brewer (AZ) blasts President Obama and His Administration
Finally a politician tells it like it is. I wish more would be forth coming in saying what they really mean. http://rightstreetwriter.blogspot.com/2010/05/hotairpundit-arizona-governor-brewer.html
AZ immigration bill
So, the Arizona governor signed the bill into law! I can't imagine the ramifications this new law will have. What will the determining factor be that decides who must prove their right to be in this country? Are they going to use color, accent, nationality (guessit's a good thing I have blonde hair and blue eyes)? Something needs done BUT this is just WRONG! Frustration with the US government doesn't warrant this kind of action. Everyone, watch for the backlash!Opinions?

I've Had Enough!....I want it back!......
My driver's license, that is. I've been without for just over a year now and I can't take it any longer. I want it back, I so hate riding the city bus. I'll try to state what happened as briefly as I can here: You see my husband and I had light feet for a long time and just couldn't seem to choose a place to settle down. We would move from state to state, live in each state for a couple years or less then move to another. We usually moved in the beginning of the year with our tax refund. We were not smart about it, we didn't plan at all, we would just use the tax money to move and live off from til we could get a steady income coming in where we moved to.In 2007 we were living in Phoenix, AZ, when we got our tax refund in 2008 we moved to Woodstock, GA. We lived in Georgia for only a very brief time, from Febuary 2008 to April 2008. As usual, we started out in GA staying at an extended stay hotel with the plan to get an income then move on to an apartment and so on. Well, my husband found a job there right away, but then got laid off after working there a couple weeks. Then he found another job, but got laid off again a week later. This happened with 3 jobs in a row. By...
Obamas Opinion on Az immigration law
PHOENIX - President Barack Obama on Thursday criticized a pending Arizona law that would make it a state crime to be in the United States illegally and require anyone suspected of being an illegal immigrant to produce identification.Such legislation could "threaten to undermine basic notions of fairness that we cherish as Americans," the president said during a naturalization ceremony for members of the United States Armed Services.Gov. Jan Brewer is nearing a deadline to act o n the measure. Civil rights activists have said the bill would lead to racial profiling and deter Hispanics from reporting crimes. Hundreds of Hispanics protested the legislation at the State Capitol complex on Thursday.A Saturday deadline for Brewer, a Republican, to act on the bill was set on Monday when the legislation arrived on her desk. She can sign, veto or allow it to become law without her signature.Asked Thursday if she is concerned that the immigration bill could lead to racial profiling in the state, Brewer said that she is still considering the effects of the legislation."I've been meeting with lawyers, and I’ve been looking at it very diligently," she said.Brewer, who...
