| The Tai Chi Master | | I have recently watched this martial art movie by Jet Lee and I can't get it out of my head due to the extreme fighting scenes. It's full of high flying actions and powerful destructive kicks and punches. Besides the fighting scenes, the story is also very nice providing a moral story about ambition and power.If you haven't yet watched this movie and you love actions then you better watched it. | | Any one into Martial Arts?..I decided to go do Tai Chi.. | | I've tried karaté and kung fu but I prefer now Tai Chi because although its a martial art, it's more relaxing and fun to do.
But I must say that karate saved my life 15yrs ago when I got attacked by two armed men. They never expected me to be martial arts trained..hehehe. boy were they shocked when I faced them and let hell break loose..hehehe.
Now I want to exercise but don't feel like going to the gym..so I called and on March 3rd..I will begin again to do Tai chi, I had to stop because I wasn't well.
It's going to be great!!!..yep am 65 put not stopping! Only have one life to live..so may as well live it up and have fun. Then what I wll do is go to the park and practice in the summer and maybe others will join me.. | |

| | Does anyone else on myLot do tai chi? | | I love tai chi, and wondering if there were any other tai chi people out there. I went to classes for about four years studying the Wudang form but stopped when the class closed down. Since then I have learnt a very simple form for people with joint disorders and practice it at home a few times a day. Hopefully I'll find another class when I get some more time. I find it really relaxing and it helps calm me down if I'm stressed about something.I'd be really interested to hear from others who do tai chi and find out what they think about it. | |
