| What is the best cold remedy that you know? | | Since I was a kid, I've always been susceptible to colds. Bring me in the middle of a gathering or crowd with mumps, sore eyes or any other relatively the same viral/bacterial illness and i would be seemingly immune. but bring me within 12 feet of someone who has colds and you can expect i would have it the next day.It seems i've tried all types of remedies and medication. From drixine to chicken soup. Nothing seems to get rid of my colds except time and bed rest. What do you usually take or do when you have colds? | |

drops on the tongue will clear a stuffy nose
and clear congestion.If you prefer, you can mix two drops of hot
sauce into tea or cola and that works as well.Also, I prop up on a pillow to sleep when I'm
sick, so that my sinuses don't become congested.
When I wake up, I can breathe, even though I have
a really bad flu or cold.What type of homemade brews or teas do you use
to clear up a bad sickness quickly?

| What's Your Best Home-Made Remedy For Colds and Flu? | | So I ran out of cold medicine and looked in my pantry to see what I could conjure up to make me feel better. The trusty old chicken noodle soup was there, but it doesn't quite to the trick for me on the spot. Then, since it was all I had, I added a teaspoon of garlic powder, a double dash of white pepper, and a generous amount of fresh lemon juice. I remember mom always telling me to drink it as hot as possible. It really worked, even stopped the sniffles. What's your best home-made remedy? | |
